Recently a customer wanted a new website as their current website was dated and the CMS it was created in, was no longer supported. Anyway, site was redesigned, loaded into production and the customer is happy. Now the site was not a WordPress site before but it is now. How long before the hackers come calling. Well not very long. I don’t have the early stats but within a month, “users” (being polite) are trying to login to the site. Here is a sample with their guesses at the admin user.

The site itself is for a service center and contains nothing that you would think would interest a hacker. Of course different hackers are motivated by different things.
